I was listening to Sarah Kennedy’s newspaper review on BBC 2 on the way in this morning and it seems that The Duke of Edinburgh, who the media think suffers from ‘foot in mouth’, has done it again by stating that he has nothing to do with the washing up, The implication being that he was being a bit chauvinistic.

It’s only chauvinistic when the implication is that it’s the wife’s job only in his case I doubt very much that even entered his mind.
