Picked up the Deauville on Saturday – she is as good to handle as she looks.

Typical though – Great weather all week but it poured down on Saturday

I arrived at the shop – John Lee the owner told me he expected a phone call putting off the pick up but as I said, it has to get wet sometime – I think he thought I was a fair weather rider. As it happened it eased off enough that I didn’t need my waterproofs although the roads were really wet on the way home.

It’s around 15 miles with a mixture of town, A class and back roads so I got a good feel for the handling – have to say it was strange at first as its been a long time since I rode last.

Looking forward to the ride to work Monday morning.
