I have just come back from one of those great moments in life – Last Christmas I won 5th prize at the BMS company Christmas dinner – a half hour flight experience in a Tiger Moth; for one reason and another I never got round to doing it until now – after two postponements, one because of fog and the other because of high winds, I finally got to go up today – it was fantastic, Nils took the aeroplane up and then let me take the controls and I actually got to fly it right up until just before landing.

I have been up before in helicopters and once in a fixed wing, but nothing like this and have never actually taking control before.

Now I have a problem – I want to do more so I am seriously considering taking some flying lessons.
