Mary and I decided it was time to do our bit for the environment and go from a two car family to just the one. Since I work from home most of the time and Mary has retired we just don’t need two cars and a motorbike.
Then of course there is the cost aspect; my Shogun Sport was a gas guzzler doing 20 – 22 MPG if I was lucky; Mary’s was much more economical but a bit small for my liking. Maintenance on my car was high with 115k miles on the clock and things were starting to go wrong with wear.
So part-ex both for The Dodge Journey; a 7 seater MPV which is large enough for my tastes but, with a 2lt diesel engine, front wheel drive and estimated 44 mpg on average, a lot more economical.
