I now have a shiny new Windows Phone 8 from Virgin Mobile to complete my upgrade from Windows 7. I decided to go with the HTC 8X, primarily because my carrier does not have the Nokia Lumia 920 in yet and I am an impatient person when it comes to moving to the latest OS. It only has 16GB of storage compared to the 32GB on the Nokia but, as I do not use the music feature and I move pictures and videos out to my computer or SkyDrive, that will not be an issue for me. The transition was absolutely painless; all I had to do was Text ‘READY’ to Virgin from my old phone, turn on the new one and it was up and running. 5 minutes to set up my e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and Skype accounts and a few minutes to synchronise all my contacts and content; Job Done
